Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Europe: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Europe showcased varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads increasing steadily, peaking at around 276K by the end of June. The app also saw a rise in weekly active users, reaching approximately 22.3M by the end of the quarter.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation demonstrated a notable rise in weekly downloads, hitting a high of 203K in late June. Active users increased consistently throughout the quarter, ending with about 18.5M.

Yandex Maps and Navigator recorded a gradual increase in weekly downloads, reaching 170K in early June. Active users also trended upwards, finishing the quarter with around 35.8M. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, maintaining a steady average of around $130.

Yandex Navigator experienced a rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 153K at the start of June. Active users grew to approximately 19.8M by the end of the quarter, with revenue reaching $276 in the final week.

Google Earth saw a steady pattern in downloads, maintaining around 108K towards the end of June. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter with approximately 2.7M.
